I am an ADHD & Executive Function Coach at the Hallowell Todaro ADHD Center - Seattle by day and a Mom to two lovely neurodivergent young sons by night. I also recently started a graduate program at Walden U, working towards my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I like to be busy...what can I say?! :-)
At 37, I began learning about my own neurodiversity. I was diagnosed with ADHD after my eldest son was, and since then, I have been subsequently diagnosed with dyscalculia, Autism, & depression.
It has been a blessing to gain all of this self-knowledge in the past 6 years, both through my work as an ADHD Coach and through my personal therapeutic work. Since my diagnoses, I have grown as a parent, blossomed with exciting hobbies and interests, developed healthier habits, and pursued my lifelong dream of writing a book.
With the publication of my book, there is a a lot of fun new stuff going on! Check out what I've been up to recently below!
I've been hosted on the ADHD Autism podcast, discussing Brain Shame!
