While growing up as a teen girl with undiagnosed ADHD in Madison, WI, I spent a lot of time in local bookstores such as Barnes & Noble, Borders, and Canterbury with my BFF! Since I loved books so very much, it was always my life-long dream to someday write one :-)
Now, I've grown up, received an ADHD diagnosis (at 37), and written a book for teen girls with ADHD! Along the way, I also learned I had co-occurring Autism, dyscalculia, and depression (as they say, "ADHD rarely travels alone," and that was true in my case :-)).
I work at the Hallowell Todaro ADHD Center as the Director of Executive Function Coaching and am studying to become a Clinical Mental Health Counselor. When I am not at work, I am hanging out with my neurodivergent sons, exercising, drinking coffee with friends, reading contemporary romance, pulling tarot cards and listening to Taylor Swift.
